Who we are?

Advance Credit Union is a non-profit financial cooperative, open to anyone living or working in a ‘B’ postcode (hello, Birmingham!). We’re here to help you save, borrow, and Advance right where you are.

Our Story

Founded in 1989 we are a Credit Union deeply committed to helping people and our community. Our strong roots in Birmingham have helped us grow together with our community, reaching 5,000 members across the city. We learn and adapt with our members in mind to obtain our vision of a stronger and more connected community where everyone has the financial tools to support their goals.
