Helen Torresi
Head Non Executive Director
Helen is a qualified solicitor with a diverse professional background, including extensive leadership experience in the legal and tech/corporate sectors. As Chair of Advance Credit Union, Helen is uniquely positioned to represent the board of directors, lead strategic planning efforts, and ensure the credit union operates with legal and financial integrity, all while driving its mission to empower members and foster financial well-being.

Helen Toft
Non Executive Director
Helen has extensive experience in FinTech marketing and communications as well as leading on regional engagement programmes across the West Midlands to drive economic growth. She has supported many organisations through periods of change with a strong focus on ensuring that change management and innovation is inclusive.

Lee Hendon
Non Executive Director
Lee brings nearly four decades of experience in the health and social care sector. With her professional roots in nursing, Lee pairs a deep sense of social responsibility with the robust governance expertise gained through her career as a CEO. She specialises in strategic oversight and community-led service, offering the Board a unique perspective on navigating complex regulatory environments while maintaining a person-centred focus on our members.

Emily Alexander
Non Executive Director
Emily joined Advance CU in 2019, where she has gained valuable experience in the credit union sector. Passionate about supporting younger professionals, she actively contributes to the Young Professionals Network, a role she relishes despite its volunteer status. In 2023, she furthered her commitment to Advance CU by joining the board.

With 30 years’ experience as a successful businessman, Will stands proud as a Non-Executive, Board-level Strategist and Financial Advisor. Collaborating with owner managed businesses and other ambitious companies.
